Allocations

Basic Principles

Co-ed Nationals allocations have been based on the following principles:
  1. We want to spread access to Nationals as widely as possible around the country. The effect of this principle is to give a slight bias towards offering places to regional leagues or teams.

Premier Co-ed Nationals

All teams playing in the newly formed NSL (2009) will be allocated a place at the Premier Nationals. For 2009 this is 14 teams

Qualification timeframe. For 2009 this is 1st Aug 2008 to 3rd August 2009 which INCLUDES Diamonds 3 2009 !!!

Since Diamonds 3 if the final event that holds "A" level play and is always on the edge of the qualification timeframe from 2009 onwards it will be included in that seasons list of qualifying events.

For 2009 ONLY Diamond 3 2008 and Diamond 3 2009 are eligible to qualify players.

2009 Venue :- Redding University

B Nationals - 8 places in Platinum & 8 places in Gold

NO Independent teams are guaranteed places places in 2009. Teams who are league composites playing in the NSL as developments squads "may" apply for their players to be classed as non-NSL players. This will enable teams to play in the Gold division without penalty.
